MSUPE cooperates actively with UNESCO. Since 2011 the International UNESCO ChairCULTURAL AND HISTORICAL PSYCHOLOGY OF CHILDHOOD” functions in MSUPE. The activity of the Chair is aimed at the development and expansion of theoretical and experimental base of the Moscow school of psychological and cultural-historical psychology in the international scientific community. The main objective of the Chair is to broadcast the ideas of cultural-historical psychology. In September 2014, the UNESCO Chair “Cultural-historical psychology of childhood” opened international master’s program in English “Cultural-historical psychology and activity approach in education”, which is taught by experts in the field of cultural-activity research from Australia, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, UK, Italy, Lithuania, and Switzerland.

MSUPE actively cooperates with the international organization UNESCO IITE: the Faculty of Information Technologies realizes a master program “ICT in professional education of teachers.” It took part in the international project “Confronting the challenges of the new information environment: global prospects for the development and education of the youth” under the guidance of prof. V.V. Rubtsov. The project brings together leading scientific groups of researchers in the field of human development in the modern information environment: anthropologists, psychologists, methodologists from Europe, Asia and America.
The objective of the project: creation of an extensive international network that can fully highlight the problems of modern information environment in everyday life, in the development and education of the younger generation around the world.
