On the 18th of May, 2015 an all-Russian conference “The results of approbation of new modular basic professional education program of research master’s program “Cultural-historical psychology and activity approach in education” with the participation of foreign experts in the field of cultural-psychological psychology took place in MSUPE. Among the experts were:
- Prof. M.S. Veggetti (Italy, Sapienza University of Rome),
- Prof. E. Dafermakis (Greece, University of Crete),
- Prof. I.E. Eriksson (Sweden, Stockholm University).
The conference focused on the innovative approaches to the training of professionals of a new level – teachers capable to conduct psychological and educational research of the pedagogical and educational process in the live student-teacher interaction. The trainig of such specialists is organized MSUPE in the framework of the program “Cultural-historical psychology and activity approach in education”, implemented by the International UNESCO Chair. This program was developed during the implementation of the pilot project aimed at modernization of pedagogical education, initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation in 2013.
During the conference the results and prospects of the second phase of the development and approbation of the innovative educational program and the features of the next stage were discussed. Experts noted the high rates of intermediate results during approbation of the master’s program, and discussed some of the problems associated with its implementation.
Basing on the results of the conference, in the period from 19 to 23 May 2015 training courses for teachers and specialists of teaching services of the design and implementation of new modules of basic professional education master’s program “Cultural-historical psychology and activity approach to education” were organized.
