The second stage of the student exchange-program with Sapienza University of Rome is realized in MSUPE in the current semester. 12 students take part in the program: 6 students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of MSUPE and 6 students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Philology of Sapienza University of Rome. The aim of the program is the language probation period.
Students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of MSUPE, as in the first semester, are on probation period in the universities of Italy: in Sapienza University of Rome and in University of Urbino “Carlo Bo”. The classes have started on Monday, February 23.
Students of Sapienza University of Rome arrived in Moscow on the 15th of February.
Different excursions were organized for our Italian guests: they visited the Red Square, Arbat, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Fallen Monument Park, the district of Moscow City and even skated on the skating rink at Gorky Park and visited Bolshoy theatre.
On the 17th of February there was a ceremonial meeting on which Italian students got acquainted with the administration of the university, learned the history of MSUPE and the main directions of the university work and of student training. Claudia Skandura, professor of Russian philology and curator of the academic exchange programs of the Sapienza University of Rome, also took part in the meeting. She told about her impressions of the exchange program during the first semester and of cooperation with our students during their studies in Sapienza.
In the solemn atmosphere the students got their student cards. From that moment they are real students of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education!
After the meeting N.A.Baykovskaya, the head of the department of the international affairs, and the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Dergacheva I.V. discussed with Prof. K.Scandura the future directions of our cooperation: the launch of the international Master program and the growth of the academic exchange between the universities.
In MSUPE Italian students study Russian language and literature, history of Eastern Europe, attend lectures of Russian philology, and a lot of attention is paid to the practice of spoken language and cultural adaptation.
At the end of the program students will passqualificational exams and get certificates of completing the educational program in MSUPE.
