SCIENTIFIC-EDUCATIONAL CENTER “NEUROBIOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS OF HEREDITARY MENTAL DISEASES OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS”

The main goal of the center, which was established in 2009, is the improvement of methods of genetic, psychological, and neurophysiological diagnosis of children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric disorders.

Currently, the main objectives of the center are:

  • Implementation of highly efficient molecular technologies for the diagnosis of genomic anomalies in children with undifferentiated forms of mental retardation and autism
  • Introduction of modern methods of psychological diagnostics of children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric disorders
  • Implementation of methods of quantitative EEG analysis for identification of possible causes of neuropsychiatric disorders of childhood
  • Conduction of a complex (neurophysiological, clinical and psychological) examinations of children with impaired mental development
  • Development of educational routes for children with hereditary forms of disabilities
